What building in Naperville actually involves
The homes near the historic district are older, smaller-footprint, and often on lots where an addition has to be carefully massed to fit. The bigger opportunity across most of the city is the enormous inventory of late-1980s and 1990s houses that are structurally sound but dated inside - original kitchens, compartmentalized layouts, builder-grade baths, and unfinished basements.
How we approach Naperville projects
Most of what we do in Naperville is interior transformation of that 1980s-90s stock: opening kitchens to family rooms, reworking primary suites, finishing basements, and updating mechanicals that have reached end of life. It is renovation work where the value is in the layout change, not just the finishes.
What we are most often hired for here
- Kitchen and great-room reconfiguration
- Primary suite additions and remodels
- Full basement build-outs
